Academic Rigor: How We Achieve Excellence

We expect excellence from our teachers and invest in their continued professional development. In turn, our educators hold high expectations for their students and provide a rigorous academic curriculum that prepares every student for success. Academic Rigor, supported by A Disciplined Life, is why we grow students faster and farther every year.

At Perspectives, Academic Rigor includes two periods of math and literacy, a longer school day than traditional public schools, and daily tutoring and enrichment for all students. Collectively, our teachers expect Perspectives graduates to be informed, thinking, compassionate young scholars who are prepared to articulate their opinions, pose critical questions, solve problems and persevere towards their goals.  Our culture of A Disciplined Life and Academic Rigor guide Perspectives graduates toward a College for Certain outcome.
