Diana Shulla-Cose, Co-Founder and President
Diana Shulla-Cose is the Co-Founder and President of Perspectives Charter Schools, one of the first charter schools in the state of Illinois, opened in 1997. Diana heads the external relations division of Perspectives, weaving a unique community relations strategy into each new community school. Diana spent fifteen years both in the classrooms teaching and serving as a school principal. She has presented to groups across the country on issues in urban education, with a focus on building school culture using the practices of A Disciplined Lifeⓒ to guide these discussions. Diana received her Master’s from Loyola University Chicago in School Leadership and her BA from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.
